When you look around in webdesignerland, Adobe's Dreamweaver and Photoshop seem pretty much the standard tools to use. * explorer some of the pros and cons;
* what considerations do we need to think about in deciding to use or not the cloud.
The cloud is not suited for everyone or every task but may be of use in your context.

Getting Things Done -confirmed-Bram>><<
Social Media - threats and strengths for a mission organization-confirmed-Corné de Keizer>><<
Project management-confirmed-Gerda>><<
About this person:
Bram leads the IT-staff of a Mission organisation.

Workshop specific info:
GTD is an organizational method created by David Allen, described in a book of the same name.
The Getting Things Done method rests on the principle that a person needs to move tasks out of the mind by recording them externally. That way, the mind is freed from the job of remembering everything that needs to be done, and can concentrate on what’s really important to think about (Wikipedia). During ICCM we will give you a basic overview of the method and we’ll practice as well!
About Corné:
Corné de Keizer (34) is CISSP and CISA certified and works as information security consultant at Motiv in The Netherlands. Within this job he is mainly focusing on information security management and security architectures.
Motiv also supports his work as secretary of the board at the Uganda Child Care Foundation (UCCF).

Workshop specific info:
Topics Corné likes to cover are:
* What is Social Media
* Privacy policies of different Social Media
* The power of social media (some examples, e.g. the WWF making a negative movie about Nestlé. Nestlé used some ingredients in their Kitekat chololate bars which threatened gorillas in some specific area. Within two weeks they made over 200.000 customers boycott the Nestlé organisation. They decided quickly to change the ingredients.)
* Threats of Social Media to missionary organizations
* Some considerations for making an organisational Social Media policy.
* Current and future developments (based on the weblog of Bruce Schneier: http://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2010/12/security_in_202.html). Think of free hardware (iPads, iPhones, Galaxy Tabs) in return of insight in your digital history (and implicitly your digital identity).
About Gerda:
In the last decade Gerda has been working as a project manager in the area of e-strategies in corporate environment and multimedia areas. With her non-technical communications background she tries to survive and add value to development processes in a masculine technology driven environment.

Workshop specific info:
Hitting the ball, catching the ball and score as one team, making optimal use of all individual strengths and interests. To make a project to a success it requires the 3 P’s; using the right People, making good Progress using an optimal Process. Glue them all together and take the step forward.
How hard it is to keep a project within budget, on time and according to all its requirements? Lots of project fail.
Change it today! Get more insight, more control and make life a little bit more easier by choosing the right method.
